Jewelry I have been wearing lately!

Normally, I don't wear much jewelry. I'm a bad jeweler! :-( I make jewelry, so I figured I should be more conscious of wearing jewelry more often. Lately, I've been liking the idea of layering necklaces.  I feel it gives a more visually rich appearance, especially when picking pieces that lay on the body at different lengths.

This is the combination of jewelry I have been wearing quite frequently.

The shortest necklace is a strawberry necklace that was given to me as a present from the bride at a wedding dinner rehearsal.  The middle necklace is a donut pendant I cast out of white bronze with resin and glass. The longest necklace is made of sterling silver with various semi-precious stones attached to the chain.  I fabricated the pendant and embedded more semi-precious stones in the silver frame.

In the picture above, you can see the silver eggshell earrings that I made.  They have freshwater pearls set into the eggshell cups.

I am going to make more of an effort to wear jewelry on a regular basis. I hope this inspires you to wear multiple pieces of jewelry and configure them in different ways! :-)

Comic-Con International 2012 My Experience #1

Hello Everyone! I know it has been quite a long time since I have created a post on my blog! :-( I have been a very bad blogger, however, this is about to change very quickly!

I recently exhibited my work at Comic-Con International at San Diego, which was a fantastic experience! This is my third year showing at Comic-Con and this was my best year yet! You never know what types of products will click your audience, therefore, I always try to introduce new product ever year at a variety of price points.

Because I took so many images from my Comic-Con experience, I will create a couple more supplementary blog posts so you won't have to read the equivalent of a small novel. ;-) So here we go!

I spent most of my free time for the past month and half creating new product for the big show. As a result, I didn't invest much time into updating any of my many social media platforms. All the hard work was fun and certainly worth it!

First, I picked up my exhibitor badges.

I, shockingly was able to set up the day before the start of Comic-Con! This is a major first for me! Normally, I am scrambling the morning of still trying to finish new product. I was both a little more organized and a little more realistic about what I could accomplish. Here I am fully set up!

Thank you so much to Shane for helping me prepare for the big show! He helped prepare packaging and place many labels on cards. In addition, he helped me at my booth two days of the event. Comic-Con is a five day event. I would not have been able to do it without Shane! :-)

This is all for now, but, I will have many more images and information posted shortly about my Comic-Con experience!
